Some very sad news to pass along -- QMJHL prospect Jordan Boyd, 16, collapsed and died today at an Acadie-Bathurst Titan training session.
According to the team’s Facebook page, medical personnel “tried to revive him several times. The young player was transported to hospital where his death was confirmed by a doctor.” The team is now “waiting for the hospital’s autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.”
The Titan also say Boyd underwent a “complete medical evaluation prior to the camp and didn’t seem to have any medical problems that prevented him from participating.”
