The Ottawa Senators have agreed to terms with 24-year-old center Stephane Da Costa, according to James Gordon, sports editor of the Ottawa Citizen.

Gordon reported online in the Ottawa Senators Extra, Da Costa’s agent, Wade Arnott, confirmed the deal - one year - had been completed between the two sides.

Born in the hockey hotbed of Paris, France, Da Costa has spent parts of three seasons in the National Hockey League with the Senators.

In 35 NHL regular season games combined since the 2010-11 season, Da Costa has scored four goals and seven points.

As reported by Allen Panzeri of the Ottawa Citizen, Da Costa is listed among a group of forwards that will be in a battle for the final two forward positions on the Senators for next season.
