The Detroit Red Wings got off to an ideal start in their winner-take-all Game 7 with the Anaheim Ducks.
Henrik Zetterberg, who scored twice on Friday in Detroit’s Game 6 victory, opened the scoring in the deciding seventh game to give the Red Wings an early one-goal lead on the road. That came 1:49 into the game.
The Ducks evened the scored on a goal by Emerson Etem with 6:12 remaining in the first period, before Justin Abdelkader restored Detroit’s lead on a short-handed goalie less than three minutes later.This video is no longer available. Click here to watch more NBC Sports videos!
