L.A. Kings’ captain Dustin Brown caught St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz with a vicious open-ice knee-on-knee collision late in the first period of Game 2.

Brown, who had the only goal of the game in the opening period, was assessed a tripping minor on the play. The collision could’ve been worse, had Brown made full contact with Schwartz. Brown also led with his right forearm, but also missed.
