Still no timetable for when Crosby will resume skating

The end of the regular season is just two weeks away, but Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said that there still isn’t a timetable for when Sidney Crosby will begin skating again, as NHL.com reports.

Crosby took that unlucky puck to the face on March 30.

In the short term, the Penguins are just fine. They’ve already clinched the Atlantic Division crown and really only have the East’s top seed/Presidents’ Trophy to fight for at this point.

Still, one would have to think that Pittsburgh hopes to get as many injured players to shake off the rust before the postseason begins. Crosby joins Paul Martin and James Neal as Penguins who may or may not manage to get at least a game or two under their belts before the first round commences.

(If they even get back in time for the playoffs to begin.)
