The Montreal Canadiens have signed veteran defenseman Francis Bouillon to a one-year contract extension, the club announced today.
Bouillon has one goal and six assists in 29 games, averaging 17:58 of ice time. The 37-year-old ranks fifth on the Habs with 31 blocked shots and is tied for third in hits, with 51.
The deal is reportedly worth $1.5 million, the same salary he’s making on his current contract.
