Just when it seemed like David Booth finally was getting his 2013 season on track, it appears that he went down with another injury.

The Vancouver Canucks announced that he suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday and won’t return. Meanwhile, the Vancouver Province’s Ben Kuzma gets more specific, claiming it’s an ankle issue.

Either way, it’s a troubling situation, although an ankle injury could be especially troubling if it happens to be a high-ankle sprain.

Booth, 28, has been limited to one goal and two assists for three points in just 11 games played this season (plus tonight), although the silver lining was that two of those points came in the last three contests.
