Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall left the game in the second period of Friday’s game against the St. Louis Blues and will not return, according to the Oilers official Twitter account.

According to Edmonton Journal hockey writer Jim Matheson, Hall blocked a shot in the second period and left the game after playing “several shifts.”

Hall is recently coming off a two-game suspension, and had three goals and 17 points in 17 games. He also had a goal in tonight’s game, which was tied 2-2 heading into the third period.
