Nash worries? Rangers recall Kreider from AHL

Chris Kreider’s trip back to the minor leagues turned into a short one.

The Rangers recalled Kreider from the AHL and while coach John Tortorella hasn’t liked the way he’s played, concerns over Rick Nash’s health are the leading cause as to why he’s back.

Nash missed practice today but Tortorella said it was just a “maintenance day” for him, as Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants reports, but that very well may not be the case. Stu Bickel skated in his place at practice and with Kreider now back in the mix just in case something is up, you wonder where he’d fit into the mix should Nash miss out on tomorrow’s game.
