Toronto forward Mikhail Grabovski will not be disciplined for Saturday’s alleged biting incident in Montreal.

The NHL announced today that it “could not determine conclusively” that Grabovski chomped Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty

As part of its investigation, the league interviewed both players and reviewed all available video and medical reports.

Pacioretty said he received a tetanus shot following the game as a precaution.

The ruling won’t come as a surprise to Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle, who said he didn’t believe Grabovski actually bit Pacioretty.

“Then,” Carlyle said, “the bottom line is it’s got to be conclusive, right?”
