So much for easing James Reimer back into action – it appears he’ll make his season debut in Toronto’s goal tonight in Pittsburgh.

The decision by head coach Randy Carlyle is an interesting one for a couple of reasons.

First, Ben Scrivens was solid in the Maple Leafs’ first two games, allowing just three goals on 42 shots.

Second, facing the high-scoring Penguins on the road isn’t the easiest assignment for a goalie that hasn’t played a real game since March and is looking to bounce back from a tough 2011-12.
