League staffers reduced to four-day work week

Gary Bettman

NHL office staffers have been told by league commissioner Gary Bettman that they’ll be cut down to a four-day work week and will only receive 80 percent of their salary, reports the Canadian Press.

Bettman delivered the news Wednesday morning at a staff meeting in New York.

The commissioner, along with deputy commissioner Bill Daly, won’t receive any of their salary as long as the lockout continues.
