Cross another restricted free agent headed to arbitration off the list – this time, it’s Ottawa winger Kaspars Daugavins, who’s agreed to a one-year, $635,000 contract with the Sens.
Daugavins, 24, had five goals and six assists in 2011-12, his first season in the NHL.
Just three RFAs with arbitration dates remain unsigned: Sergei Kostitsyn (Nashville), Anton Stralman (NY Rangers) and Dale Weise (Vancouver).
