Report: James van Riemsdyk is back for Game 5

After missing roughly a month and a half due to a broken foot, it looks like James van Riemsdyk is finally ready to return.

He previously stated that would be willing to play through any pain he might be experiencing if asked. Still, van Riemsdyk was initially listed as a game-time decision.

He’ll provide Philadelphia with some additional scoring depth as they try to shake off their embarrassing 10-3 loss in Game 4 and eliminate the Pittsburgh Penguins Friday night.

He’s projected to play on a line with Matt Read and Jakub Voracek.
