MacIntyre demoted to AHL

New York Rangers v Pittsburgh Penguins

Penguins tough guy Steve MacIntyre has been sent back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL after being called up for Saturday’s game versus the Flyers.

MacIntrye played 8:37 against Philadelphia and Sidney Crosby wasn’t attacked with a homemade shiv during the meaningless season finale, so mission accomplished for the big protector.
