Getting Sidney Crosby back is huge, but he might not be the only Pittsburgh Penguins’ star returning on Thursday (7:00 p.m. ET on NBCSN). According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Josh Yohe, Kris Letang is also “very likely to play tomorrow.”

Letang hasn’t played in about two weeks because of symptoms stemming primarily from the concussion he sustained on Nov. 26. Letang has nine goals and 31 points despite playing in just 40 games this season.

The New York Rangers would have their hands full with the Penguins on Thursday even if Crosby and Letang weren’t playing. The fact that both of them could be back will make this game a big test for the Rangers as they attempt to hold onto the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
