PHT’s Morning Skate takes a look around the world of hockey to see what’s happening and what we’ll be talking about around the NHL world and beyond.

Being the guy who gets the call while Craig Anderson is out and being in the middle of a playoff race is hard enough, but Robin Lehner is eating it up. Shutting out the Bruins is mighty impressive. So why’d they go get Ben Bishop again? (Senators Extra)

It’s got to be frustrating to be Ilya Bryzgalov. He comes up huge against the Sharks last night, gives up just one goal and... Loses. Safe to say the Flyers offense was not humongous big. (CSNPhilly.com)

Meanwhile, Danny Briere was able to avoid injury after being put into the boards head first by Marc-Edouard Vlasic. The last thing the Flyers need is another injury. (CSNPhilly.com)

Andrei Kostitsyn only played 12 minutes in his first game with the Predators last night. Sign of trouble already? Hardly. Barry Trotz is just taking it easy on him joining a new system. (Tennessean)

Wondering why the Lightning are putting out some strange lineups lately? Sure, there are injuries but they’re also dealing with the stomach flu running through the locker room. Gnarly. (The Tampa Tribune)

Finally, check out Ryan Malone totally flipping out and losing his cool when dealing with Alexei Emelin of the Canadiens. Malone received five for fighting, two for instigating, a ten-minute misconduct and a game misconduct. Emelin, meanwhile, didn’t even receive a major for fighting. (Hockey Fights)
