San Jose Sharks coach Todd McLellan was struck by one of the Wild players’ sticks during their game against Minnesota on Sunday. Early reports indicated that he went down as a result of the incident and a stretcher was brought in. Fortunately, McLellan was able to walk to the locker room with some help. He appeared to be, according to Brodie Brazil of Comcast SportsNet, “very dazed and woozy, as he was helped off.”

Not long after he was taken away, the San Jose reported that he was attentive and alert. He was under observation while viewing the game from his office.
