It just got harder for minors to get beer at Jets games

The company that owns the Winnipeg Jets is in trouble for serving alcohol to a minor.

According to the Winnipeg Free Press, True North Sports & Entertainment will face the charges next week in a disciplinary hearing before the province’s liquor control commission.

The incident that was witnessed by an inspector allegedly occurred Oct. 9 during the Jets’ home opener at the MTS Center.

If a penalty is assessed, it’s likely to be a warning or fine. So rest assured, Jets fans; the MTS Center won’t be losing its liquor license.

The minor that was served the alcohol maintained that it was very good beer.

He purchased it with a fake ID.

His name was Brian McGee.

When he was 17.
