Video: Tyler Seguin’s fearsome wrist shot

Tyler Seguin

The Boston Bruins couldn’t squeeze out a win in Tyler Seguin’s audition as a first line center, but don’t blame the second pick of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. The budding star continues to dazzle with his offensive instincts and undeniable high-end skills.

He made an impact on many occasions against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday night, as he fired four shots on goal and played a little more than 20 minutes. Many people prefer to live their sporting lives through video clips, though, so this footage of his astounding wrist shot goal should do the trick. (It’s also a moment that will make it that much tougher for Claude Julien to limit Seguin’s time on ice, although it’s likely that Julien will do what he wants with the developing star.)
