The Boston Bruins had tied the game in the third at 4-4 and the Pens were reeling so of course it would be enforcer Shawn Thornton that would score the dagger goal that would put the Bruins ahead for good, right? It’s only logical. Thornton’s goal gave the Bruins the lead in a game they went on to win 7-4 and it was actually a thing of beauty.
