In a stunning turn of events, the Dallas Stars managed to change a 2-0 third period deficit to a 3-2 lead. Yet there Alex Ovechkin was, isolated against a helpless Stephane Robidas. Ovechkin completely bamboozled Robidas and then launched a shot into the top corner to tie the game. No one can change the angle of a shot quite like Ovechkin; you simply cannot give him that much space. Or any space, for that matter. The Stars would take the game in a thrilling shootout, but what a goal. (This also tied Ovechkin with Sidney Crosby for the league lead in goals.)
