Boston Bruins v Tampa Bay Lightning - Game Four

Video: Net and Star Cam footage from Bruins-Lightning Game 4

(Want an in-depth recap of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s impressive comeback from a 3-0 first period deficit to beat the Boston Bruins 5-3 in Game 4? Check out this post, which covers all the bases.)

A lot of people counted out the Lightning once they fell behind 3-0 to start off this afternoon’s Game 4. Some even went as far as to close the book on Tampa Bay’s postseason altogether. Amazingly, many of those same people have been following this year’s playoffs and still assumed that a game could be decided in its first 20 minutes.

This Bolts team won’t quit and the Bruins occasionally struggle with leads (particularly 3-0 ones, many will joke), so the game was far from over. The Lightning bounced back after Dwayne Roloson was yanked in favor of backup Mike Smith while Bruins netminder Tim Thomas struggled in the second period. Ultimately, the Lightning played a great final 40 minutes after suffering some mental lapses in the first 20. Check out Star Cam and Net Cam footage for both teams in the videos below.

Video: Highlights from Philadelphia-Buffalo Game 6 including netcam and star cams

Ville Leino

Today’s incredible Game 6 saw the Flyers extend the series to a seventh game thanks to a 5-4 win in overtime as Ville Leino put home a loose puck past Ryan Miller.

Today’s NBC coverage certainly isn’t lacking in highlights as Philly’s Daniel Briere continues to haunt his former team as he scored two goals this afternoon. The Sabres got some great play of their own including a big goal from Thomas Vanek. For Buffalo it wasn’t good enough though as Brian Boucher was able to come in and replace Michael Leighton after a bad first period from the Flyers third different starting goalie in the series. Boucher stood tall while the Flyers peppered Miller with shots all game long.

You can check out the highlights from today’s game and get a good look at all the goals that found the back of the net for both teams. You can also check out the highlights from net cam and get a look at the Star Cams that kept a watchful eye on Chris Pronger who made his first appearance of the playoffs after dealing with a broken hand.

Video: Star Cam highlights for Rangers, Capitals from Game 5

New York Rangers v Washington Capitals - Game Five

(For a full recap of the Washington Capitals’ 3-1 win over the New York Rangers – a win that makes Washington the first Eastern Conference team to make the second round – click here. Consult this video for footage of Mike Green‘s scary injury and check out this post for Alex Ovechkin‘s outstanding game-winner. Want to see all the goals? This post has all four plus Net Cam highlights.)

One of the stories of the Capitals-Rangers series was that Washington’s stars showed up while the Rangers’ biggest gun Marian Gaborik didn’t.

Alex Ovechkin, Alexander Semin and Mike Green played so well that sportswriters might need to find new playoff whipping boys. You can see some of their work (along with other Capitals moments) in the first Star Cam video.

The Rangers will probably want to improve the group of guys who will appear in these videos next season, as their lack of punch was probably the No. 1 reason they lost to Washington in this series. Their Star Cam footage can be found in the second clip.

Video: Star Cam footage from Rangers-Flyers NBC Game of the Week

Henrik Lundqvist, Jeff Carter

Sunday’s NBC Game of the Week between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers brought a nice mixture of talented offensive flourishes, solid saves and the kind of vitriol that comes from being division rivals. This post captures the star power featured in this game in the form of Star Cam footage for both teams.

Video: Star cams from Washington’s 4-3 overtime win over Chicago

Mike Knuble, Corey Crawford

This week’s NBC Star Cams from the Game of the Week featuring Chicago and Washington breaks out a few of the usual suspects you’d see.

For Washington, you’ll get to see Alex Ovechkin doing his usual madman routine on the ice looking to get free and generate offense, including one particular scoring chance that he pulls out of seemingly nothing. You’ll also get a great look at the work Mike Knuble did on his game-winning goal in overtime.

For Chicago, you’ll get a healthy look at everyone from Corey Crawford in goal to Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and Patrick Sharp on the ice. You’ll also get the added bonus of seeing Brent Seabrook and Jason Chimera come together for the game’s only fight of the afternoon. Seabrook was upset with Chimera for appearing to run Crawford on a scoring attempt.
