Video: Bryan Bickell scores shootout goal in final NHL game

Bryan Bickell scored a shootout goal for the Carolina Hurricanes, in his final National Hockey League game.

Bickell, 31, battled back to play pro hockey again almost four months after he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis last November. He rejoined the Hurricanes earlier this month but announced this weekend that he will retire at the end of this season.

On Sunday, he was put into the shootout on the road versus the Philadelphia Flyers. He made no mistake, ripping a wrist shot and beating Anthony Stolarz glove side off the post.

It was great to see his teammates mob him in celebration afterward at the bench. The Hurricanes won 4-3 in the shootout.
