Forward Jesper Fast will be back in the New York Rangers lineup on Friday night when the team hosts the Florida Panthers.

Fast had been sidelined for the past seven games due to a separated shoulder that he suffered back on Feb. 28 in game also against the Panthers. The 25-year-old winger has five goals and 15 assists in 59 games for the Rangers this season.

He is expected to skate on the team’s third line on Friday night alongside Michael Grabner and Kevin Hayes.

With Tanner Glass expected to remain in the lineup on the team’s fourth line that means rookie forward Pavel Buchnevich is likely to be the odd man out after playing 16 minutes in the Rangers’ 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night.

Antti Raanta will also be back in net for the Rangers as he continues to fill in for the injured Henrik Lundqvist.
