It's safe to say Jeremy Roenick is well known in the NHL community, but with the help of some fake hair, sunglasses and a Canucks jersey he was able to experience Hockeywood without being recognized.

-- Jeremy Roenick, former NHL superstar and current NBC hockey analyst, went undercover at the NHL All-Star Game over the weekend dressed in a Vancouver Canucks jersey, a massive Brent Burns-like beard, and sunglasses. You can watch it in the video above.

-- The Metropolitan Division team took home the All-Star victory and the $1 million cash prize on Sunday and it was Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby and Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin leading the way. The two long-time rivals spent most of the weekend hanging out on the ice and worked to develop a chemistry together after coach Wayne Gretzky told them they would be skating together during the game (Crosby set up Ovechkin for a goal at one point in the game). After the game Alex Ovechkin was asked if the two players are now buddies, to which he laughed: “Yeah, best friends. How I always said.” [CSN Washington]

-- When it comes to Olympic participation, Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews says that “If it’s not the best in the world I feel like we’re misrepresenting our sport on a pretty huge scale.” [Craig Custance]

-- Courtney Daniels, one of the Los Angeles Kings’ ice crew members, ended up having to sing the National Anthem before Sunday’s game after the NHL’s original performers were unable to go. She did not find out she was needed until 10 minutes before she needed to go out there. She nailed it. [Los Angeles Kings]

-- The Arizona Coyotes have fallen short of expectations this season and are currently on track to finish with one of the worst records in the league this season. Despite that frustration first-year general manager John Chayka believes the team is on the right track. [Arizona Republic]

-- The Boston Bruins reassigned backup goalie Zane McIntyre to the American Hockey League over the weekend and recalled Anton Khudobin from the Providence Bruins. McIntyre was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game for Providence. [Boston Bruins]
