Video: P.K. Subban made the holidays brighter for some kids in Nashville

Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban is one of the most popular players in the NHL right now.

Not only because he is one of the most entertaining players -- and personalities -- in the entire league, but also for the way he is constantly giving back to his community.

The latter part has not changed one bit since the offseason trade that sent him from Montreal to Nashville.

On Saturday morning, Subban posted a video of his day with a group of children from Nashville with sickle cell disease that thought they were going in for a doctor visit. Instead, they were able to spend an entire day with Subban, capped off with a massive shopping spree at the Predators’ team store along with Subban’s teammate, Roman Josi.

Along with a sleigh ride and the shopping spree, he also set them up as “pin pals” with children in Montreal that he spent time with in previous years.

Check it all out in the video above. It’s a great way to head into the holiday weekend.
