Video: Things got a little feisty between the Predators and Lightning

There were questionable hits and fists flying toward the end of Monday’s game between the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning.

A massive scrum erupted with less than two minutes remaining, after Ryan Ellis took a run at Lightning forward J.T. Brown, who wasn’t near the puck at the time. Brown immediately started throwing punches toward Ellis, as everyone else on the ice jumped in to the fracas.

That incident stemmed from a high hit that Brown threw on Nashville defenseman Roman Josi just a few minutes earlier in the third period.

There was no penalty to Brown for that hit, but it also drew a crowd with Mike Fisher getting called for roughing.

Meanwhile, the Predators won 3-1, thanks to a pair of second-period goals from P.K. Subban.
