The New Jersey Devils are looking for their third straight win, but they’ll do so Friday without forward Mike Cammalleri.
The Devils, who can move into a Wild Card position with a win tonight, announced less than an hour before puck drop against the Buffalo Sabres that Cammalleri will miss this road game due to personal reasons.
In 12 games this season, the 34-year-old Cammalleri has three goals and six points.
While goals had been hard to come by for the veteran forward earlier on, he recorded a hat trick against Carolina last weekend.
The Devils and Sabres also face each other Saturday in New Jersey.
With no Mike Cammalleri (personal) available tonight for #Devils, both Devante Smith-Pelly and Reid Boucher taking warmups.
