Video: Chris Tierney, scoring machine, gives Sharks early lead as they look to eliminate Predators

Marc-Édouard Vlasic lets a shot go from the blue line and Chris Tierney is able to get a stick on it to deflect the puck past Pekka Rinne to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead over the Predators in the first period of Game 6.

The San Jose Sharks have yet to win in Nashville in this series, but with a chance to eliminate the Predators in Game 6, Chris Tierney quickly scored two goals to give the visitors an early lead.

Tierney entered the game with one goal in these playoffs. He then scored twice in a span of 1:56 to give San Jose a two-goal lead Monday.

The Predators, facing elimination, responded courtesy an odd goal from Roman Josi. But they all count, and it was once again the Mike Fisher line including James Neal and Colin Wilson -- they’ve been highly productive for Nashville in this series -- leading the charge offensively.

Update: The Predators have tied the game 2-2 on an early second-period goal from Ryan Johansen.
