In a critical Game 6, Jason Spezza scores the Stars' third of the first period with the assist coming from Jamie Benn on the power play. Goalie Jake Allen entered the final minutes of the third to replace Brian Elliott.

You’re in, Jake Allen.

The Dallas Stars, facing elimination, had a terrific start in Game 6, scoring three goals on their first seven shots and chasing Brian Elliott from the Blues net less than 17 minutes into the first period.

Mattias Janmark and Vernon Fiddler scored goals 20 seconds apart to give Dallas a sudden two-goal lead.

Jason Spezza increased that to a three-goal lead with a power play goal later in the period. That resulted in a change in net for St. Louis, as Allen entered the game.
