In a must-win game for the Washington Capitals, their star, Alex Ovechkin, got them off to the ideal start.
With only one goal (and three points) in this series prior to Game 5 on Saturday, Ovechkin gave his team the early lead on one of those classic power play blasts from his off wing.
But just 3:04 later, the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins responded. One win away from the Eastern Conference final and with a 3-1 series lead over the Capitals, the Penguins evened the score on a power play goal of their own from Chris Kunitz.
Game On at Verizon Center.
