Steve Ott, who hasn’t played since Dec. 5 due to a hamstring injury, has now been diagnosed with Colitis, the St. Louis Blues announced Wednesday.
According to the Blues, the 33-year-old Ott will be re-evaluated again in two weeks.
From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
Steve Ott was on the verge of returning to the Blues’ lineup. After undergoing double-hamstring surgery that has kept him out the last 53 games, the winger was practicing regularly with the team and considered day-to-day.
In 21 games with the Blues this season, Ott has two assists and 34 penalty minutes.
In December, the Blues announced that Ott would miss three months due to his hamstring injury, which required surgery.
