Phil Kessel is having a weekend to remember. After picking up five points in a 7-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Satuday, the Pens forward scored the game-tying goal against the Rangers.
Kessel scored after Carl Hagelin picked off a Henrik Lundqvist pass deep in the Rangers’ territory. Hagelin put the puck on goal and Kessel jumped on the rebound.
The Penguins and Rangers are tied at two heading into the third period.
