Video: Killorn goes end-to-end for OT winner, Bolts win ninth straight

Screen Shot 2016-03-05 at 7.57.37 PM

Alex Killorn scored the winning goal in style for the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

Facing the Carolina Hurricanes and tied three goals apiece in overtime, Killorn took the puck from near his own goal line, sped up the right side of the ice and beat forward Joakim Nordstrom with a power move to the net before out-waiting goalie Eddie Lack and going top corner.

Game over. The Lightning earned a 4-3 victory. It’s also Tampa Bay’s ninth consecutive win.

As a result of this recent hot streak, the Bolts move into top spot in the Atlantic Division, two points up on the Florida Panthers -- at least for right now.

The Panthers are currently playing the Arizona Coyotes.
