Memo to the NHL: the Columbus Blue Jackets continue to hover as a team with serious spoiler potential.
The New Jersey Devils still have some time to mount what would be an unlikely comeback tonight, but as it stands, the Blue Jackets are in a position to deal a blow to New Jersey’s playoff hopes.
Most specifically, Nick Foligno did some serious damage already, producing the second hat trick of his career (and helping to jettison Cory Schneider out of New Jersey’s net).
As of this moment, it’s 5-1 Blue Jackets.
