Buffalo Sabres goalie Robin Lehner was furious following a dangerous Boone Jenner hit on defenseman Zach Bogosian in the third period of Friday’s game.
Jenner was given a major penalty and a game misconduct for the hit, which sparked a scrum in the corner. That’s when Lehner got involved, as he left his crease before mixing it up with Jack Johnson.
After a few shoves, Lehner threw off his gloves but the confrontation didn’t go much further as officials intervened.

But as you can see on the replay, Lehner was absolutely incensed.
The Sabres, thanks to a 38-save performance from Lehner, came away with a 4-0 victory over the Blue Jackets.
However, Buffalo defenseman Cody Franson left the game late in the second period after taking a hit from Scott Hartnell, who was given a major for boarding.

Cody Franson, who didn't return and is moving gingerly in dressing room, says "I'll live" when asked if OK. Stitches for Bogosian.
