Again? Gudas tossed for another questionable hit (Video)

Radko Gudas is no stranger to the NHL’s Department of Player Safety, and the two could be meeting again in the very near future.

Early in tonight’s Flyers-Devils game, Gudas was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for an illegal check to the head of New Jersey forward Bobby Farnham.

This, of course, is the latest in a series of transgressions from the Philly blueliner.

Earlier this month, Gudas laid out Buffalo rookie Daniel Catenacci late in the third period a 5-1 Flyers win. The hit ended Catenacci’s night and landed him on IR, but Gudas avoided supplemental discipline.

That wasn’t the case back in December, though, when Gudas was was suspended three games for a headshot on Mika Zibanejad.

It’s also worth pointing out that, also in February, Gudas was tossed from a game against Montreal for clipping, after delivering a low hit on Habs forward Lucas Lessio.
