The Philadelphia Flyers will be without Michal Neuvirth for the next seven to 10 days because of a lower-body injury, per the team’s website.
He suffered the injury during Monday’s practice.
The 27-year-old led the Flyers to victory in their last game before the All-Star break as he made 27 saves on 30 shots in a 4-3 overtime win over the Washington Capitals.
Neuvirth has an 11-6-2 record with a 2.14 goals-against-average and a . 933 save percentage in his first season with the Flyers.
With Neuvirth banged up, Anthony Stolarz has been recalled from the minors.
The 22-year-old spent some time with the Flyers this year and last year, but he’s never played in an NHL game.
Stolarz has a 15-10-3 record with a 2.45 goals-against-average and a .915 save percentage with AHL Lehigh Valley in 2015-16.
Steve Mason will get the nod in Tuesday’s game against Montreal.
