Jaromir Jagr still isn’t crazy about going to the All-Star game.
In early December, Jagr pleaded with the fans not to vote him into game, but that didn’t work. He was still voted as one of four division captains (with John Scott, Patrick Kane and Alex Ovechkin).
With the All-Star break less than a week away, Jagr’s tune still hasn’t changed.
On Saturday, the 43-year-old told reporters that he’s still not interested in going to Nashville because he’d rather rest up for the last 30 games of the season.

In 2009, after they were selected to play in the All-Star game, Red Wings players Nicklas Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk decided to skip the event.
The result?
They were forced to miss Detroit’s first game following the break.
Here’s what NHL Vice President Colin Campbell said at the time:
''We’ve all got obligations to the fans, the rights holders — this game is being televised around the world. If you come here, you are committing to everyone but if you can’t play, you can’t play. You can [still] commit your time.”
Sidney Crosby, who didn’t play in the game but attended the festivities anyway, was not suspended.
Crosby was suspended one game for missing the 2015 All-Star game.
