Anton Khudobin is back on his way to the San Diego Gulls in the American Hockey League, as per an announcement Wednesday from the Anaheim Ducks.
Khudobin was summoned to Anaheim on Sunday, when fellow goalie Frederik Andersen was listed as doubtful with an upper-body injury.
The Ducks host the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, so it would appear Andersen is healthy enough to dress.
Ducks send Anton Khudobin back to AHL San Diego. So it looks like Freddie Andersen will be able to back up after all.
