Video: Sharks’ aggressiveness pays off ... except against each other

The San Jose Sharks have been aggressive so far on Monday, and it’s paid off ... for the most part.

As you an see in the video above, Logan Couture finally found the net during this injury-ravaged season, giving him five points (and maybe counting?) in just 10 games.

That wasn’t the only moment in which the Sharks forced the issue and reaped rewards, as Joe Thornton forced a Joe Colborne turnover, and then finished the play after a nice Joe Pavelski pass (“Joe to Joe to Joe”) for a nice goal:

Yep, good stuff from the Sharks ... but the aggressiveness had its negative side:

There was also a scary moment in which Justin Braun was bloodied by a wayward puck, which you can see at CSNBayArea.com.

Unfortunately, after playing some of the game, Tommy Wingels may in fact be injured:

Update: Maybe the real drawback of the Sharks’ aggressiveness came during the second period, where they saw a 3-1 lead dissolve into a 3-3 tie after giving Calgary what began as a 5-on-3 man advantage.

San Jose ultimately won 5-4.
