Bobby Ryan’s big night powers Sens’ OT win vs. Blues

Things were looking pretty dire for the Ottawa Senators earlier on Monday.

They came into the game with a three-game losing streak and losses in five of six contests, and they had been shut out in consecutive games.

There was concern that might happen again, as the St. Louis Blues opened up a 2-0 lead ... but, well, the headline kind of spoils this one, doesn’t it?

When you’re in a rut, sometimes you need key guys to carry you to victory. Ryan did that in a big way for the Senators tonight.
