The last time we wrote on Matt Moulson, it was in relation to his career-worst 18-game goalless slump.
It doesn’t appear things have gotten much better.
While head coach Dan Bylsma would neither confirm nor deny, Moulson looks like he could be a healthy scratch -- for the first time this season -- when the Sabres take on the Bruins in Boston tonight.
BREAKING: #Sabres do lines and Matt Moulson not on them. He may be about to partake in the press box popcorn as a healthy scratch tonight.

Bylsma said Foligno could go, would not say if Moulson was in or out. "Matt needs to get back to playing the way he can." #Sabres

Moulson’s goalless streak is currently at 22 games and, on the year, he has just four in 34 contests.
Should he sit as a healthy scratch, it’ll probably generate some headlines. In the second of a five-year, $25 million deal — with a fairly hefty $5M average annual cap hit — Moulson is Buffalo’s third highest-paid forward.
