The Boston Bruins announced that tough guy Zac Rinaldo has been placed on injured reserve because of an upper-body injury.
It’s unclear how serious the issue is, or how it happened, although it’s possible that it happened during Monday’s overtime loss against the Edmonton Oilers.

Even with scant offensive production (just a goal and an assist in 26 games), Rinaldo tends to be a polarizing presence, so things might be a touch quieter around the Bruins without him.
