Here’s the update that Columbus Blue Jackets fans were fearing: Sergei Bobrovsky will miss about three weeks with a lower-body injury, according to the Columbus Dispatch’s Aaron Portzline.

This is an estimation, but that would probably mean that we won’t see “Bob” until early 2016, although these timelines aren’t always ironclad.

Bobrovsky was injured during Tuesday’s loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Columbus has already made adjustments with Bob out, as they recalled Joonas Korpisalo.

Even with signs of improvement, the Blue Jackets are currently the worst team in the NHL with 24 points in 29 games played (three other teams have 24 points but games in hand). It would be surprising if Columbus made any big moves considering the hole they find themselves in, but you never know.
