You know what they say: “Revenge is best served via humiliating goals.”
OK, that’s not how the saying goes, but the Detroit Red Wings are currently making the Arizona Coyotes pay for injuring their players.
The most jarring sequence came late in the first period of Thursday’s game, as Niklas Kronwall and Gustav Nyquist scored goals 18 seconds apart. As you can see, the second one is a tally that will sting for Smith, as it came from just a bit beyond center ice.
