The Ducks had some pretty alarming comments after last night’s blowout loss

Troubling times in Anaheim.

Again.

The Ducks, now sitting 11th in the Western Conference, had some rather revealing things to say following their latest sour note of the season -- Saturday’s ugly 5-0 loss in Tampa Bay, their fifth defeat in the last seven games.

After 60 minutes were up, both players and coaches were blunt about what’s wrong with the team.

Reading between the lines wasn’t necessary.

“Once they got the second goal, it was like ‘Ah, we’re not going to come back.’ There was no fight left in us,” Bruce Boudreau lamented, per the O.C. Register. “That’s the bothersome part for the coaches.”

And as if Kesler’s and Boudreau’s comments weren’t enough, captain Ryan Getzlaf called out the team’s lack of consistency, saying the Ducks have to “build something where we’re finding a way to play the right way.”

It’s easy to see what Getzlaf’s talking about.

After a horrific 1-7-2 start to the year, Anaheim looked as though it’d righted the ship by winning four straight. But that run was followed up by more spotty play -- and a three-game losing streak -- before the team took to the road for a four-game swing.

Wins in Carolina and Florida had the Ducks thinking it could be a successful trip, but punctuating it with a horrific loss in Tampa Bay left the team with more questions than answers.

Chief among those questions?

How much longer Boudreau has left.
