Ottawa Senators defenseman Patrick Wiercioch left Thursday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets and will not return after suffering an upper-body injury.
It appears as though Wiercioch was injured by a Nick Foligno check, which you can watch in the video above.
At least at first blush, that seemed like an unfortunate result from what seemed like a legal hit. Agree/disagree?
