The Calgary Flames have acquired goalie Kevin Poulin from the Tampa Bay Lightning, in exchange for future considerations.
Poulin will report to AHL Stockton, which lost goalie Jon Gillies to a lower-body injury last week. Hence, today’s trade.
Poulin was plucked off waivers by the Lightning in September. The 25-year-old has a career .899 save percentage in 50 NHL games, all with the Islanders.
